An orignal 1979 Spanish one sheet poster for the theatrcial release of The Wanderers, the cult gangland classic American coming of age movie co-written and directed by Philip Kaufman and starring Ken Wahl, John Friedrich, Karen Allen and Toni Kalem. It's set around the Italian gang the Wanderers and is full of high school angst and gang violence, but the film has actually got some depth to it and touches on all kind of themes: abusive parents; neglected kids; racism; teen pregnancy Its also laced with melancholy, and sensitivity that reflects the cultural and political change going on in the US.
