An original 1977 Australian daybill poster for the theatrical release of The Greatest, a biopic about boxing legend Muhammad Ali, directed by Tom Gries. The dramatisation follows Ali's life from the 1960 Summer Olympics to his regaining the heavyweight crown from George Foreman in their famous "Rumble in the Jungle" fight in 1974. Ali plays himself (who else coudl do it) and he's pretty decent actor. This artwork is by another legend Italian illustrator Arnaldo Putzu (Get Carter, That'll Be The Day).
