A 1980 rare original Japanese B3 first release cinema poster for Star Trek, an American science fiction film directed by Robert Wise and based on the television series Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry, who also served as its producer. It is the first installment in the Star Trek film series.

This colourful iconic artwork is by Bob Peak (My Fair Lady, Apocalypse Now, Superman).

The text on the left side advertises the film and promtoed its showings at the Osaka Shochikuza Theatre in Osaka.
