An original 1984 U.S one sheet poster for the theatrical release of Sixteen Candles, a classic romantic teen comedy written and directed by John Hughes in his directorial debut. Its not all bubblegum coming of age stuff though. The movie touches on some huge issues, when it comes to casual racism and consensual sex. It stars Molly Ringwald, Michael Schoeffling, and Anthony Michael Hall. Molly Ringwald went onto to star in Breakfast Club and Pretty also directed by John Hughes. Fairly iconic poster if you were a young when this came out.
