An original 1968 movie poster for Petulia, an American drama film directed by Richard Lester and starring Julie Christie, George C. Scott and Richard Chamberlain. Swinging 60s San Francisco-style, in which a zany British girl Christie, unhappily married to anaemic Chamberlain, has a mad fling with dominating surgeon Scott.

This is quite a progressive film creatively, with its use jump cuts, subjective flashbacks, accelerated action and pop-culture references, all combined to create a moving romantic tragedy with comic detailing and with 60's style.

Excellent condition. This poster was originally folded, but has now been linen backed to smooth out the creases and folds and preserve it for years to come. There has been some paper restoration in bottom right corner. This poster displays beautifully and ready for framing .
