A rare original vintage 1969 Japanese movie poster for the counter-culture classic Easy Rider, a tripped -out road adventure written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern, produced by Fonda, and directed by Hopper. Fonda and Hopper play two bikers who travel through the American Southwest and South, carrying the proceeds from a cocaine deal. The success of Easy Rider helped spark the New Hollywood era of filmmaking during the early 1970s. It was the first indie film to actually make big money, quickly becoming what many now consider to be one of the most successful indie films of all time. The small-budget film cost $380,000 to produce and quickly went on to become a cult classic that grossed more than $60 million worldwide.
This cool orange variant is very difficult to find, especially in such great condition.
